QPEG« Video Codec 1.1 for Windows 95 and Windows NT 3.51/4.x
============================================================
You have installed the QPEG« Video Codec 1.1. This 32-Bit
Video Codec is for playing QPEG« videos with an 8-Bit color depth
under Windows 95/NT.
The 32 Bit software QPEG« Producer 1.1 for Windows 95/NT is used by
learning systems developers, multimedia producers and video services for
the production of high quality digital videos in the QPEG«-AVI format.
Together with the 32-Bit QPEG« driver QPEG« videos may be integrated
into all Windows applications and can be played using the interface Video
for Windows with MCI commands or ActiveMovie under Windows 95 or
Windows NT 3.5x/4.x without additional hardware. The 16-Bit QPEG« driver
(not contained in this setup) also allows playing under Windows 3.1x.
The strength of QPEG« is its high picture quality, its excellent
accuracy of detail, as well as its outstanding performance. Because of
these characteristics, as far back as 1994 QPEG« received the Gold Award
of ITVA (International Federation for Visual Communications) as best
exemplary technology leading into the future within the multimedia
category.
